Kohl's Corp Child Development Center

School seems to have great resources, nice decorations and for the most part, very nice teachers, but teacher turnover is ridiculous. The Director has her favorites and is better at gossiping than she is anything else. As a parent you feel like an outsider. Rarely are parent concerns discussed in a fair manner, the parents really have no say at the Kohl's daycare. If you complain, you have an X on your back. We were there for 4 years, spent $40K and didn't even a "good bye" when we left, and we werein good standing! Policies aren't adhered to across the board, policies are based on whether you are liked or not. If you don't mind having a new teacher every few weeks, if you don't mind not knowing who your child's teacher will be from day to day and if you don't mind having kiss up to the director and coordinators, then this is the place for you.

One reviewer is correct the teachers DO have favorites - you just hope your kid is one. Overall it's a good center but the teachers are not overly patient and we had a horrible incident that caused us to take our child out immediately. The administration is SOOOoo lazy that you sort of understand why the teachers have such bad attitudes about their jobs - but most do love the kids and try even with bosses in the way.

Teachers are impatient with the children, constantly yelling. Teachers have favorites, and if your child is not one of them, they will be ignored. Parents are treated like outsiders and their concerns and requests are not respected by the teachers or the administrators. The menu is not catered to different ages and is not very nutritious.

Teachers are fantastic. Administration is wonderful to work with. Facilities meet all needs for children of this age.
