I have my daughter in PineLake campus since she was 3 years old. 2 years in a row in same class - Garden - with different teachers. I feel that she has been at right place. I am pleased for their security system and drop off/pick-up circle ( only rainy Seattle mother of multiples with other kids in the car seat would understand this advantage ) I surely had issues like my daughter not eating good lunch, lack of interest in school work/care provided by teenage girls during after school. ( and I am sure that I would have faced same things at other schools) but very important is that their admin staff and teachers always listen and/or respond to your issues. Now that she is heading to public school I am surely worried about leaving from here ( trying to manage finance that I can continue her KG here.)

I am very unhappy with the school. The lunch break time they allow for 3year olds is like 10-12 minutes. That is just not enough time for that little kids. It is not possible to get that changed. And what are they trying to teach them, gulp down your food? I am not saying make them sit to have a leisurely 1 hour French style lunch, but 10 minutes is too little. They say it is 20 minutes, but it is more like 10-12 min after the kids open their lunch boxes and start eating. My daughter lost close to 4 lbs in one month, we finally pulled her out and moved to a different Montessori. I think at this age it is more important to be healthy. She would come home hungry, tired everyday. saying there was no time to eat, and gulp down food in the car. So sad.

My daughter is in the Sammamish campus and really enjoys the school! Great teachers and efficient management. It is a safe and caring place. Recommend to all preschoolers.
