This is hands down the best preschool for our 3 1/2 year old son. Prior to Pixie Hill he was at a Montessori school and he dreaded going to school every day. When I picked him up on his first day at Pixie, he asked me if I could buy a book about spiders so that he could learn more about them, seeing his curiosity soar was a milestone especially on his first day! What I love most about the preschool is the teachers there are GREAT, they are caring, smart and respond to the individual needs of each child. It is not a one size fits all type of place here! I can already see that they have instilled a deep sense of wonder and exploration in him because they make learning fun and engaging. I am so thankful that we found a preschool whose philosophy in teaching mirrors our philosophy and values.

Pixie Hill has the perfect preschool blend of fun and pre-academics. Each child is well equipped for kindergarten when they leave, and has made friendships that will last forever. Parents form a tight-knit group through regular social events and volunteering in the classroom. There are lots of wonderful opportunities for enrichment with visits from The Reptile Man, Puppets Please, Magicians, etc., and parents teaching lessons. Children are encouraged, challenged, and develop a great sense of wonder. I love hearing my child come home from school and regularly say "Mommy, what if......? The teachers are smart, flexibile, funny, and "get it." This is the best preschool anywhere.
