Great school! Love the teachers and love the staff! I feel my daughter is getting prepared for Kindergarten in a loving, fun environment.
Pebble Preschool at Mercer Island Presbyterian Church is an excellent preschool. Teachers are well qualified, friendly, loving, dedicated, and work together to give your child a quality education in a loving, learning environment. This school balances both learning through free exploration, and small and large group activities, where the children learn to participate in group discussions, share ideas, learn to problem solve, and work on other age appropriate skills. Programs we use include Love and Logic, Handwriting Without Tears, Math their Way (which is a hands on approach for teaching math skills), Hands On Bible curriculum, along with other active learning activities to help the children grow and learn in a fun way. The facility is clean and well kept. Toys and activities are rotated throughout the year so the children get a variety of activities to choose from throughout the year. There is a large fenced in playground and a gym with bikes, balls, tents, etc. for indoor play when it rains. The children have many opportunities to engage in imaginative play, art. large and small motor activities, etc.
