I have had my kids at Burlington Little School for over a year now. The school grounds are great. Children get a lot of outside time. The staff is excellent. My children are learning letters, numbers, reading, being exposed to science and social studies and a controlled fun environment. In addition, there is great community and community support.

We enrolled our daughter in BLS last year, primarily for socialization. We visited other schools, but only BLS had an environment we felt comfortable with. It allows kids to be playful children, while still teaching early literacy and math skills. The teachers incorporate the interests of the kids with their lesson plans and work to make each student feel accomplished in their strengths, while gently guiding their weaknesses to a better place. We couldn't be more pleased with our choice of schools for our daughter and highly recommend other parents to take a look!

We as a family had a wonderful time last semester at Burlington Little School. Our son has acquired a great set of friends, sprouted quite a vocabulary, has maintained a great relationship with his teachers and most importantly had a wonderful time. In being new to the area, my wife and I really appreciate the openness of the school, the innovation in the working garden, natural surroundings, and classroom activities. For us as parents, we ve met quite a lot of really interesting people with similar interests. For us as a family, we feel that Burlington Little School is a really great fit for us.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
