The facility at Discovery Depot was built specifically for this Montessori school and it is beautiful. Great environment for the children to learn. Also the teacher's are really wonderful to work with.
My son learned much in one year but got lost in the system when it came to emotional development. Good educators, poor life coaches. It is probably one of the best PK - 1st grade schools in Kitsap but the pickins are slim.
Overall, Lakeside's teaching quality is excellent and my children enjoy attending this school. I like that the school is at the head teacher's home, it seems to be more of a relaxed atmosphere for the kids which enables them to be more relaxed. Also, that the teacher/student ratio is great. That means that there really is 'no child left behind'. Both my daughters have attended and the youngest will too.
Super teachers, great environment. My kids are getting a top notch education and jump starting their progress in learning.
