My son requires speech therapy and his district therapist works with kids in this school, so we enrolled him. I am very happy that we did. He's accepted as is, unlike his previous preschool in Port Orchard that turned him into a black sheep for his delay. At this preschool he is treated nicely and is even liked by his teachers while he learns alongside typically developing children and gets therapy. I even spotted his name on a few pieces of work that looks to be written by him. I'm thrilled with that and wished I'd enrolled my son here to begin with. Unfortunately we're military and have to leave this Spring. This school is the one reason I've truly wondered if I should just stay with the kids and separate the family.
My child went to preschool here and is in the school age program now. They taught her the alphabet, letter sounds, how to write her name and short words such as mom, mat, sat.... They are consistent, teach and expect the children to use good manners and are conscious of each child's individual needs. I highly recommend them.
