K-3rd grade. A dismal experience. The same exact schedule is offered year after year. Nothing changes. The help in the classroom are 'old timers' who need to be retired asap. The word 'shoe box' fits this program to a T! If your child is non ambulatory or non verbal there is 'nothing' that is available for him/her at this school. They are basically ignored and the staff had a hard time acknowleging that although my child cannot walk or talk, he can hear, see and is very capable of learning. Speech and therapy services are a joke at this school. I have really nothing good to say about the entire experience. My suggestion would be to go to Harmony School in the Mt. Baker School District. There is no comparison as to how the children are treated and how much they learn in the proper enviornment.
