My daughter was in their after school program. At 5/27/2011, when I arrived in Lakemont Academy to pick up my daughter, my daughter wasn t there. The people there didn t know my daughter should have been picked up that day, and had no idea where my daughter was. Fortunately, my daughter got on yellow school bus and was spotted by my neighbor and taken in until I was contacted and could reach her. After we figured out what happened, one lady at Lakemont Academy only asked why my six-year-old went on the school bus. This was what was upsetting. Losing a child is a big deal, and all anyone wanted to know was why my child wandered onto the yellow school bus. She s six years old. We paid a pretty decent rate to Lakemont Academy, ensuring that my daughter would be picked up on time and kept safe. The burden is on the child care provider to follow the schedule, check attendance and follow through immediately with a parent should something not check out. Placing the blame on the child for such negligence has been a very difficult thing to forgive, and they still insist that was my daughter's fault ! I cannot trust them anymore, Withdrew my daughter from there.

Excellent -- the kindergarten program really prepares your child to be well ahead of public school. If you are going to invest in providing your child w/a strong foundation, paying for a year of Lakemont's kindergarten program to establish good habits and a good learning attitude is well worth it!

Fabulous! The teachers are loving, supportive and excellent teachers. The support staff is just as wonderful. The facilities are enriching and well maintained. You get one of the best schools in the area and a fair price as well. You can't ask for more.

Lakemont Academy has been the perfect fit for a busy single mom. While the tuition is high, so is the quality of care and education. Each child is given special attention too and thrive in the positive environment. The discipline by the teaches is good and misbehaving is not permitted. They have full control of their classes and run a tight ship. The current director is very hands on and interacts and responds to comments very well. Each class is culturally diverse and well balanced with girl to boy ratio.
