My son attended St. Stephen for his final year of preschool after spending one year at another preschool in town. There is absolutely no comparison when it comes to quality. The teachers are amazing. They are fully engaged with the children and offer structure, guidance, and a gentle approach to early learning while maintaining a fun and supportive atmosphere. When they leave St. Stephen, the children are completely prepared for kindergarten. Kindergarten, in our experience, is not the play-school atmosphere many of us remember from childhood. There are academic and behavioral expectations, a structured learning environment, and even homework. The faculty at St. Stephen understand this and prepare the children accordingly. I could not have chosen a better place to get my son ready for kindergarten.
Both of my daughters have attended St. Stephen Preschool and we have been very happy there. The teachers are well qualified and very loving to the students! I have never had to call about any concerns. I believe it deserves 5 stars!
