My oldest child attended EEDS for two years, as a 3 year old and a 4 year old. Overall we were very pleased with the school and its curriculum. Ms. Sessions and Mrs. Walker were fantastic teachers. My child was eager to learn and they really fostered that and encouraged his progress. He grew socially as well and became more independent and less nervous in new situations. They offer Spanish, music and computers which I liked, although my child was fairly unimpressed and didn't speak about unless I specifically asked. I deducted one star because I did feel like some of the communication from the director (or her assistant) was confusing or vague, although she is very nice and approachable. We are not church members, but did not feel like we were treated any differently than those who were and felt that the religious instruction for the children was age appropriate and never made us feel pressured or uncomfortable. EEDS is a good school with warm and active teachers and parents. I would definitely recommend anyone take a tour and check it out!
I love this school......The environment is friendly, the teachers are loving and friendly, the director is friendly. The kids are like a family with each other. There are 2 -5 years olds here and it feels like home and family as soon as you walk in. Come and see for yourself if you want a great school for your little one
Such a wonderfu school with such warm and caring teachers!!!! They really take the time to get to know every student and parent!
I would recommend this school with some reservations. Our time there did not end well but it was mostly a great year! We felt (and others later echoed) that there was a lot of favoritism shown to certain children/families. However, the curriculum is great and I have nothing bad to say about the class experience itself. It is an adorable facility.
I am a parent that drives about 8 - 10 miles to come to this school. We love it. It feels like home the minute you set your feet in the school. Each child is greeted by the teacher individually. We love it!!!
Great school, great teachers, very loving environment. Small classrooms only 10 to a class. The director is so kind. I wouldn't have my child in any other school. We used to go to Bellamy Manor where there are 18 kids in a class and the rooms are much smaller and to much pressure there. I highly recommend Emmanuel Epicsopal Day School.
