I absolutely LOVE this pre school, from the principal on down to the teachers. I had my 1st daughter at an in home day care until she was 2, then had her attend a different pre school and was unhappy with the constant transition of teachers. When I found this school I was excited from the moment I walked in the door. Mothers intuition kicked in immediately, this was the place for not only my child but for me as a parent. As an over protective mother I needed a school that would take care of my child but also deal with me calling, stopping by and all of my questions. This was the place and still is 2 1/2 years later. My daughter has now graduated to elementary school and my 2nd born is attending the pre-school. She is in the infant room and is very well taken care of. She comes home clean, happy and is very well socialized. She has hit, if not surpassed all of the Infant Milestones she's supposed to. She smiles every single day when I drop her off and reaches for her teachers. When I think about the other schools I have visited this school by far has everything I am looking for - loving and caring environment, very clean, good size classrooms, and great communication!

I can't say enough about this school! The teachers are warm, caring, creative and energetic. Each one takes special interest in every child regardless of whether that child is his/her student. I am always amazed how often I'm stopped by a teacher who tells me a funny story about what one of my kids did that day. Its apparent that this is truly a community. Academically, I see my kids thriving. My oldest (3.5) is excited to read and write and understands concepts that his friends in other schools have not yet touched. (My 4 mos old is learning too, and getting the key stimulation she needs now). If you walk down the halls, you can see artwork, special projects and weekend news updates from the kids. As a parent, I appreciate seeing what my children are learning and thinking, and the new things they both will be learning in the coming weeks and years. This school is led by its incredibly devoted and talented principal. She is the heart, soul and spirit of Chesterbrook. She treats every student as if they were her own. The kids adore her and so do the parents. With her calming confidence and wise guidance you know your child is in good hands (GREAT for first time parents!)

I had my child in their infant class. Teachers and principal are great but the only thing I was concerned about was the floor was not clean enough although they have many crawlers. The tution is higher compared to other day cares but does not offer education / educational activities to the infants very much. I have expected a little more structured program for infants since the school name says "academy" but just a baby sitting school, in that sense. So I have transferred my child to a montessori school for her better education.
