Prov. Preschool goes to pre-K 5's.We started w/ 4 's so I can't comment on the younger class. 4's class was great ! Pre-K 5's not great. My son has a speech disorder . The "head" teacher was arrogant and unfriendly. She would not even make eye contact with us 3/4 of the time & forget getting any updates on how the day went (no communication at all). It appeared to us she was prejudice tords our son because of his disorder. We held him back because of guidance from our public school and private speech therapist and our Pediatric neurologist (he has a IEP). The teacher wanted him tested for LD asap but all of the professionals thought he was on track and that would be premature of the usual second grade age of testing (because you can get misdiagnosed earlier on) . Once we chose to go with the professionals and not do what she wanted she dropped us. We did not have any contact with her which made for a horrible school year. Very unprofessional and immature. Would not suggest the pre-k fives class because of this. To add 1/2 the class should have been in the 4's class and were not being held back ( too young). We felt this was more of a class for kids wanting to get an "edge" for K.
Providence Baptist Preschool is a Christian, non-profit weekday ministry of Providence Baptist Church. In a caring and positive atmosphere, we create a warm and happy place for preschoolers to learn. As we bridge the gap from home to school, we guide children to a continued good self-image while building social skills in a school setting. We also provide the children with the building blocks for a solid spiritual foundation.
We accept children from 18 months - 5 years.
