My family has been at compass for over 6 years. They have had their ups and downs especially in the beginning but have done a great job overall. Their teachers are excellent and really care about the children. My son loved his time there and can't wait until the summer program where he can explore new places and see all of his old friend and teachers again. My daughter loves her class, friends and teachers. I gave the over all school a 4 because I believe it lacks additional programs like - computers and spanish.

We are having an excellent experience at Compass. The entire staff, including the director have been very friendly, responsive, communicative, patient and caring. Our 3 year old started at Compass from another area preschool and I'm so glad we made the move! No regrets and the tuition is very reasonable.

We have loved the Compass School for our son. He is so happy when we drop him off and he hugs, and waves and blows kisses when we leave....he has really bonded with the staff and his two great teachers. We have been very happy with the cleanliness of the center, the supervision, and the activities he particpates in each day. We love the regualr communication with the daily highlights, the weekly journals, and the phone cals int he event of an illness or minor injury. The support staff and admin is great and very warm and friendly and helpful. Again, we could not have been more pleased by the care and education our baby is getting at Compass School!

I worked at this school and I have never worked in an atmosphere that was so unprofessional and unkind. No one was ever happy and there was always something going on that took the attention away from the children. Someone was always getting bullied and there was never any peace. I just don't get this place....you don't make much money and everyone seemed to hate this place....what is the point????

I also had a bad experience with school. When my cild started there she was very outgoing. I understand that social skills are important but also being prepared to enter kindergarten is also important. My child didn't learn anything from this school.

I had a brutal experience with this school! I have been a teacher for many years and have never seen such unprofessionalism with management as I have here at Compass. I never felt that the growth of my child was supported by this school. The people who worked the front desk seemed grumpy and gossipy.....it's no wonder why the turn-over is so high. Me and mychild didn't know who or what to ecpect to see everyday. Also the philosophy seemed to change from one day to the next. Overall I found the school's environment inconsistent and we all know how important consistency is for children.

The staff is this school's strength! I have loved all of the teachers that work with my child. They are all caring and loving individuals that make her feel welcome and loved while her parents are away. She is always telling me that she loves her teachers or that her teachers love her. I find this a very important quality to have for a place where I am entrusting my child! The environment is wonderful. It is warm and welcoming and has interesting things for all to look at. I am glad to see the amount of animals for her to experience (especially since many of them will not find there way into our own home). I appreciate that she is outside a lot and loves her time outside. I appreciate that the administrative staff is always available to talk with us, no matter how trivial.

I really think that Compass Staff care about the children and the parents. It is evident in my interactions with them. I really like how the teachers try to push children to where they should be in their own individual development. I like how Compass creates wonderful opportunities for the employees, children and parents to interact, even though we as parents can't always be involved. I also appreciate how the school itself is very non-commercial. Overall it has been a GREAT experience

I really didn't have a good experience with this school. I found the turn over was very high and the administration never was held accountable for what went wrong. I just never felt my child was very safe so I chose a new school.

I love this school! My husband and I both taught college and wanted to find an center that offered both and educational and inviting environment. The Compass School staff are well educated and are passionate about working with children. If you're looking for a center where your children will be nurtured and well cared for, enroll them in The Compass School!
