Fairfax Presbyterian Pre-School

I have had one child go through the school and have another currently enrolled (and another on the way). We LOVE this school. My oldest son was perfectly prepared for kindergarten and is thriving in elementary school. I have no doubt my others will be just as well prepared. The school's philosophy is that children learn best through play, so the children don't even realize how much they're learning because it's so fun. There is a great balance between free play (both inside and out) and structured time (like circle time). I have enjoyed the parent participation aspect of the program, helping in the classroom and getting to know the other children and parents. The school is described here as "religious," but there is no religious instruction. The classrooms are spacious and cheerful with large windows. The teachers are excellent. This is a truly outstanding school.

I absolutely LOVE this school! I have had three children go through, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff is kind and nurturing, and I love helping out in the classroom. Do yourself a favor and check this school out!

This is a wonderful preschool! It has been wonderful to my son and very supportive of his food allergy. They are very aware of nutrition and healthy eating habits. They focus on learning, and children are at the center of this school. Nothing is forced. My son blossomed in Mrs. Carter's pre-K class!
