Its a show for the parents! the students do not learn or respect their teachers or other classmates. The school allows students with special needs to be in the same classes as mainstream students. It is dangerous!

My daughter has attended BeanTree since she was 5 months old and will be attending Kindergarten at the facility. I could not be happier with the school. She is always happy to go in the morning because they keep the curriculum fresh and fun each week. Also, their day is kept active by attending the specialty classrooms such as Art, Music, Spanish, and Computer lab. The specialty teachers are wonderful in addition to the great regular teachers and staff. The employees seem to possess high morale and they appear to promote from within which is I feel is very important. Once the water park opens in the summer, it's yet another added bonus that the kids are very excited about. Not having to worry about food, diapers, wipes etc. each day has made our life much easier, too.

My daughter has attended BeanTree Learning since 2007 (initially at Westfields and then moved to Ashburn since we live closer to that campus) and we have found the staff to be enthusiastic, outgoing, friendly and most importantly, nurturing to our daughter. She looks forward to going to school each day and loves all BeanTree has to offer (especially ballet!), can count to 100, knows her colors/letters/shapes and is learning to read. She just turned four. I know by observation that the staff works extremely hard and are constantly focused on the needs of the entire student body and I regularly reach out to discuss my child's progress and the daily schedule. I have always found her teacher and all the Directors to be welcoming and positive in every single exchange.

Do not recommend, school is mostly smoke and mirrors. Teachers are well intentioned, but are young and inexperienced; not equipped to teach young children; and do not welcome feedback. Classroom layouts and transitions promote chaos. No outlined curriculums, reading lists, child development assessments and/or goals. Children requiring special services, extra attention, or assistance need not apply. Meal plans do not promote healthy nutritional choices. Concerns, suggestions, comments and criticisms are not welcome. Management and staff are in denial concerning their ability to successfully communicate. While attempting to hold the school accountable, many parents have been bullied, treated with disrespect, and unprofessional behavior. Our child loves the fun environment, but for the tuition, we aren't getting the best and as soon as we find an acceptable option we are removing our child.

My 3 1/2 year old son started in Chantilly then moved to Ashburn then back to Chantilly (due to our work not anything to do with the school). I can not imagine a better place to put him. Yes it is expensive (although the drop in price coming in August in Chantilly will help. Everywhere we go people think he is a small 5 year old and are amazed with his vocabulary English and Spanish. Plenty of fun and learning all wrapped up into a beautiful friendly environment. If you can afford it put your child here. If you can't afford it get a part time job and put your child here.

I am surprised about the comment below. My son moved from another daycare to BeanTree and I have noticed a tremendous difference on his learning and behaviour. Our kid gets there happy every morning and many times doesn't want to leave. As with every daycare -I can find many flaws - no one is better than mom. But I can tell that the teachers create a nurturing environmnet - they are kind, and patient with every kid because they want to do this job. The teacher-child ratio is superior and that also makes a difference ! The director has been very easy to talk with and has indeed strong attention to detail to run the opertaion of the daycare very efficiently. It is expensive - but - VERY MUCH WORTH IT !

We've had our sons at Beantree since April 2005 when they were 2 years old. They are now in the kindergarten program there. It has been the best experience. I'm surprised at the comments from the Feb. 21, we've never seen A.I. on TV there. It is a warm, loving environment where children are constantly stimulated. The teachers are fabulous. I can't keep up with what the kids are learning. The best test for me is when I go to pick up the boys in the afternoon. It would take my up to 30 minutes because they did not want to leave. I'll take that over crying at drop off any day. For us, yes, it has been expensive but it is (and has been) the best place for our sons.

The afterschool and summer programs definitely leave something to be desired. The quality of the 'programs' and the teachers is not high and definitely not commensurate with the price. Kids are left to entertain themselves and that leads to chaos and conflict. The quality at the school has definitely degraded with time ... the preschool programs used to be excellent.

I was a bit surprised to read the negative review from 21 February. I have a three year old at Beantree and a five year old who attended Bean Tree before heading off to private school and will be returning there over the summer for summer camp. Beantree is not perfect but, in our experience, it comes as close as possible to getting there. My daughters have thrived in its nuturing environment, communication with the teachers is as open and frequent as you want it to be, and the management responds positively and quickly to any concerns that are brought up. My experience has been that any sub-par teachers hired on don't last long; we were unhappy with one teacher our youngest daughter had but she was fired before it reached the point where we felt compelled to say anything. We have nothing but positive things to say about the center.

We attended for two years. During this time the school was awesome. Recently, however, with the opening of their new school in Fairfax, the quality has greatly decreased. About half of the teachers have gone to the new school and they have hired a lot of sub-par teachers. Worst of all, the owner director has stopped being involved in the Ashburn school. We pulled my son out because his last teacher used a lot of negative psychology instead of possitive reinforcement. There was a lot of conflict among the teachers in his classroom. This was very unconfortable for us as parents and had a very negative impact on my child. Also, I was very dissapointed with the amount of TV that children are allowed to watch, ie American Idol. I am not going to pay @$1,200/month for 3-days a week for my kid to watch TV!
