Knowledgable, dedicated, creative, empowering teachers who genuinely care for your kids. Cannot rave enough about the social and scholastic development that takes place at St. Clement. And there's a great family dynamic among those who are enrolled.

We are now on our second child at St. Clement, and honestly, I don't know how you could want more out of a preschool. From the amazing teachers, to the warm environment, to the cooking and music and new Spanish classes, St. Clement offers everything a parent could hope for in a preschool... and then some. Because my husband and I both work full time, my kids are there from 8am to 6pm, and they never grow tired of being at school! As a previous poster said, it truly is a gem... just not so 'hidden' anymore!

I found St. Clement's on this website last summer. We were living overseas and preparing to move to Alexandria. I called and spoke to the director late in the summer. Miraculously, she had spots for both my five-year-old (in their JK classroom) and my three-year-old sons. Our experience has been nothing but positive. The teachers are engaged and loving. The cirriculum is age and developmentally appropriate. The kids play outside - in all types of weather - twice a day, something my energetic boys love. The church is wonderful, as well. If you are searching for a preschool, and can grab a spot here, snatch it up. You and your children will be glad you did.

This school is a hidden gem! The teachers and staff are so warm and caring. We really felt like we were apart of a family working together to educate and mold our young child. We highly recommend this school. It is enriching for the whole family.

I am a children's librarian who has dealt with many local preschools. This is the one both my daughters attended--and they both loved it! It has the most loving atmosphere of any school I have ever worked with--it's a family! The curriculum is based on a learn through play approach--kids are encouraged to grow but not pushed. Discipline is there--but in a very positive way. This is a church school, but the religious aspect is very low key and children of all faiths will feel at home. After care is wonderful--Mrs Medrano is the best preschool teacher on earth--and the summer camp is always fun. This is not a school with a lot of name value. But if you want your kids to learn, grow and be loved, I can't think of a better place for them to be.
