Northern Virginia Academy

I was surprised after reading all of the reviews that it did not live up to the reputation. We decided to pull my 2 year old daughter after 6 months. My daughter has food allergies and she would constantly come home with rashes on her face and back. In addition, when we wanted to give her a nickname to be called the teachers in the class would not follow our request to call her by her nickname. We were only in the 2 year old class at the Lansdowne location so I can not speak for the rest of the school but we were very disappointed.

My children have attended this school since they were 3 yrs old. They just turned 5 and I am so pleased with the school. The teachers and assistants at the Landsdowne campus are loving, nurturing, creative and make every effort to build confidence in the children. My kids are learning and encouraged appropriately. The school day ends at 6:30pm, which is also nice since most preschools close at 6pm. When I take to my kids to preschool in the morning, I leave feeling at ease knowing that they are safe and in a fun learning environment.

Great pre-school! Not only do they concentrate on educating your child, but they also nurture and care for your child which is key. Our children have received much love and encouragement form all the teachers at this school.
