Children's Montessori Center

I posted a review here of Children's Montessori Center back in November of 2008 and I felt the need to update it. As my son comes to the end of his school years at CMC, I've been looking into other schools trying to decide 'what comes next'. Since CMC only offers curriculum up through kindergarten we are now on the hunt for a new school and I have to say that it is tough! We have been so spoiled by the teachers and staff at CMC in the best way possible- all the new schools we look at seem to pale in comparison! I can't state this strongly enough- if you are looking for a pre-k through kindergarten private school for your child you cannot do better than CMC! Their staff and teachers are beyond outstanding! They are really the gold standard and deserve so much praise!

Children's Montessori Center is an amazing preschool! The difference between CMC and some of the other preschools in this area is staggering! So many preschools claim to be 'schools' but really seem more like daycare centers in as much as they just seem to be killing time through the course of the day instead of really being focused on preparing the kids for a great kindergarten experience and on learning all throughout the course of the day. My only complaint with CMC is that it only has classes through 1st grade- I wish CMC would go all the way through elementary, middle and the high school years too! The teachers at CMC and the administrators and assistants clearly have a great love for what they are doing and welcome each child with warmth and enthusiasm and caring. I cannot recommend it highly enough! It's a truly great school!
