do not send your child to this school in the woodlands. had very bad experience over the course of a year. the owner, christine hart, is unprofessional and has no background in child education. she cannot keep good teachers and turnover is extremely high. she tries to save money by hiring inexperience youg girls to run the classes. i dont know how she can get away with this if the school is supposedly AMI accredited.

There was a time when I would have sung Greystone's praises to any parent but those times have changed. The ownship of the school has passed onto one of the Administrators and the quality of the education and leadership has suffered. I expect high staff turn over from the teacher's aides but not in the core staff. While the school name implies a certain educational standard, they are down to 1 qualified directress. A Montessori education will work for alot of student but it's not for all students. It feels that the focus is no longer on providing a montessori education and educating parents appropriate expectations. If the new owners do not want to continue down the montessori path, that is their choice but they should not advertise themselves as a montessori school.

Since beginning at this school, my son has made great strides developmentally. He absolutely loves his teachers and I have the utmost confidence in them, and yes, they do have a certified Directress in each classroom from infant through primary. We have been very pleased with this school.

Each class room has a Montessori certified Directress who actually is in the classroom rather than just creating curriculum and overseeing the staff who actually interacts with the children. My daughter has blossomed here and loves attending her 'school'

Parents, beware. Make sure you have an attentive eye when looking at this school. This is a daycare center that claims to be a Montessori school only because it has a Montessori-based curriculum.
