Whistle Stop Station

My son went to Whistle Stop (Hickox) from 15 mo old until he started Kindergarten this year. Unfortunately his school is not in Rowlett and he had to change from WS. However, he has requested to return to Whistle Stop over the summer b/c he loves it so much. We cannot say enough good things abt the school and staff.

The school is wonderful, my daughter has gone there for almost 2 years now and the teachers are great. The only downfall is they just raised there rates and they are quite pricey. We had to move because of the rate increase. If they went back and didn't raise the rate she would still be there.

The staff at Whistle Stop (Chiesa) has been wonderful. They've always been attentive and loving towards my kids. For the past 3 years, my kids have been happy there and have always enjoyed spending the day with their teachers and friends. Only complaint: Young and impatient teachers - although they weed them out pretty quickly. Teachers that have been there for years are great! They truly care for the kids!

The Whistle Stop Station located in Rowlett off of Chiesa and Liberty Grove is FANTASTIC!! I've had my two kids at three different daycares over the last 8 years and this place is definitely high on the ratings on daycares. The owners are great and I can't believe how they run it with all the kids they have there. I have two schoolers now and they make their day there so fun filled...they enjoy going everyday! Payments can be weekly, paid by Bank checks, monthly, etc. They have actual school buses to take kids to and from nearby schools and they have a very thorough checking system for dropping off and picking up. I can't say anything negative about them. The teachers or helpers they hire are on top of things and VERY friendly! I'm so glad I have such a great place to send my kids to!
