Whistle Stop Station-Chiesa

This is the second daycare my son has attended and it's really shown me what a "good" daycare is. Even at 18 months old he's always happy to be there - walks right in to his class with a smile on his face! The teachers have amazing control over the kids - even the toddlers line up when asked! Since attending my son has also been using sign language at home (which they tought him). I agree that there's a definite "Christian" element to the school, which may rub you the wrong way if you're not religious (which I am not). However, I don't feel it's being shoved down their throats, and the concept of Christianity is definitely going to be introduced to them sooner or later anyway (living where we do). All in all, I am SO happy to have found this daycare/school. The daily "report cards" he gets telling me how his day was, how much he ate, how many dirty diapers he had, etc. are priceless! Nothing speaks more to how great this school is than the fact he doesn't cry when I drop him off. This is a GREAT school/daycare.

Both of our children have gone to Whistle Stop, our 17 year old did and now our 5 year old has since he was 1. They both loved it, we love the staff and we are just thrilled with all the christian activities they have. I believe more schools need to have a christian atmosphere. I highly recommend this school.

I pulled my children out literally three weeks after starting. The classes are way to crowded, the teachers have little control, there seems to be little learning going on and although this may not be a problem for some, they were making my sons pray and there was a rather large amount of christian religion items and books in all of the common areas. This is not something I feel that their daycare should be forcing on my children. Even after me talking to the teacher, they were still not excusing my child from these activities. My children screamed when I dropped them off and literally ran out the door when I picked them up. I moved them to Pecan Creek and the first day there both of my sons stated that they love their new school. I do not recommend this particular whistle Stop Station
