There is an incredible child care. Staff is professional, attentive and know what they are doing. I consider myself a picky customer, and they impress on every day basis. My daughter is happy and she is running to hug her teachers forgetting to give me a kiss in the morning. What a terrific change after all these mediocre child care facilities! Teachers are not only providing care and education, they seem really enjoy what they do. Did I mention that this school is less expensive that all these 'Montessories' and 'Primroses' around?

We recently moved to the area from another state, and after reading online about the program and touring the school chose Goddard school for our 3 year old son. It was a big move for all of us including our son who had gone to the same daycare in our old city since he was 5 months old. We are delighted and relieved to find he has adjusted extremely well. We appreciate the program organization, facility layout is good, extra programs offered at the school are great. Our son is clearly learning a lot and though at first was sad to say goodbye, as many 3 year olds are, he settled in quickly and is full of smiles and stories of his day when I pick him up. We have appreciated the steady communication from the school and the staff about our son's day, upcoming events or necessary paperwork to be completed. I have been extremely impressed with the warmth of my son's teachers. We are exceptionally satisfied.

Both our our daughters have been going to Goddard since they were babies. Our oldest is now 3 1/2. Teacher turnover is very low and for the most part we have had very few problems. The teachers are caring and nuturing and do a great job keeping the learning environment fun. Goddard single-handedly potty trained my daughter when she was 2. As with any daycare, children will get sick, but I've never witnessed any unsanitary conditions or dirty toys. Toys are cleaned in the infant room on a daily basis, sometimes multiple times a day. As babies our daughters would get ear infections occasionally, but they were never constantly sick.

My child has been going there since he was 3 months. I was initially impressed by the program, believing everything they mentioned on the tour of the school. However, just a few weeks after he started going there he started getting sick- ear infections, pneumonia, flu like symptoms, etc. Being that he is my first child, I thought that this is normal. However, his very serious sicknesses have not stopped. This tells me a few things- 1) Someone interacting with him- whether it be the staff or other babies- were constantly sick and/ or not washing their hands or toys. 2) They have a policy to not drop off sick kids but apparently do not enforce it. This is probably the most important thing to enforce. Also, I would like to add that he constantly cries when he is being changed, which he never did before starting at this school. For the money that I pay I expected, and hoped for, a better school.. Maybe it was my fault for believing all of the things that the director said at my initial visit, but it is apparent that many of the great things she had to say that differentiate that school from others is just not true. I would look elsewhere for child care- save your child's health.

My daughter has been with the Goddard School since she was 1 and she's now almost 3. My daughter loves all her teachers and always talks about them everyday. Her teachers were life-savers when it came time to potty train my daughter. My daughter was completely potty trained by 2 1/2 with the help of her teachers taking her to the potty multiple times a day. Overall, I've been very happy with the Goddard school and would definitely recommend it to others.

BEWARE Parent - On several occasions I had a problem with a teacher, not following parents' feeding instructions/ requests. We spoke about her negligence to the owner but the teacher's behavior changed little. When parents expressed their disappointment, the teachers blamed the parents for lack of communication and the Director, (instead of enquiring about the issues from the parent) reprimanded the parent for being "rough" with the teachers. It appears the director and the teachers have full freedom to act out the way they do and there is no control on their misbehaviors. Secondly, the director, who is NOT a doctor or a medical professional, has often challenged a mother's opinion about her child's illness, when mom requested the staff to cooperate with the child's problems. Unfortunately this is too much interference of the director in the parents' lives. The two good things about the school: The owner, who really talks to the parents politely and listens to their issues. 2. Goddard requests the child get sheet/ blanket for naptime. Overall, protect your peace of mind. A "disappointed" mother.
