My daughter is currently in her third year at HLC. When we were selecting a preschool for her to attend, HLC just felt like "Home" to us. We have not regretted our decision once. The teachers and staff have been so wonderful to our daughter and she has excelled academically.
Very disappointed. Steer clear. They refused to honor the quoted price. The children s bedding was stacked all together in two of the rooms. The director did not seem to think this a hygiene concern. I asked the director about potty supervision in the preschool room and she turned it around and expressed concern that my child might not be able to potty and wash his hands with cursory or no supervision. While I visited, children using the toilet were ignored during use, and teachers were occupied with other children. I made sure she understood how dissatisfied I was with their putting me in the position of having to make a last minute decision about childcare when we had deliberated and shopped for a month. This is the bulk discount store of preschools - To quote Tom Hanks in You've Got Mail: "It's not personal, it's business." Please parents, be wise to what they are about at Heritage before your child has to learn the hard way what it's like to be "discounted" as one of the many in a school where they keep the ratios and prices as high as possible.
My children love Heritage! The teachers have been there for a long time and the school has so many neat features for kids. I recommend Heritage to anyone wanting to find an educational and FUN environment for their child.
