Both of my children attended this school and it better prepared them for public schools. There are certified Montessori teachers there (certificates displayed when you walk in the door.) I know there was a change in owner a few years ago so some of the previous reviews may not have had the same wonderful experience that we did with the owner Melissa. School has yoga, Spanish in class for free of extra lessons for a fee, ballet and gymnastics class once a week for a fee, no monthly art fees (that changed with the new owner), phenomenal teachers and staff, and overall just a great place for kids to learn. This was the third day care I took my kids to and I only wish I found them first.
I have had my child at this school starting at 1 1/2 years of age. I cannot say enough of the compassion, concern, care, and not to mention the teaching! My child is now almost 4 and has learned so much. Respect for self and others, positive reinforcement, sign language, Spanish, etc., etc. I cannot say enough. Whenever I have had a problem or concern, I was always greeted with understanding and compliance or resolution. This is not a daycare, it is a school. It is costly but I can say it is well worth it!
This school is more expensive then other preschools around the area, but many of the parents enrolled their kids to the school because of Montessorri education. However, there is no Montessorri teacher there anymore since the executive director there treat employees without respect. They charge us monthly supply fee, but it all goes to the owners pocket. BAD BUSINESS!
My daughter loves her preschool so much. She raves about her teachers and all the interesting activities they do during the day. I feel incredibly fortunate to have located a preschool of this caliber for her.
