Foster offers an accelerated curriculum with emphasis on core elements, combined with electives and activities that both interest and challenge the student. The teachers are hands-on, interactive, and offer an atmosphere that both challenges and rewards the student. A variety of activities, ranging from band and orchestra, to academic and athletic teams are offered. Regularly, students compete in academic contests with other schools and are very successful. Emphasis on character, creativity, and accountability are stressed, and parental involvement is both encouraged and expected.
