If your child will be attending a Katy ISD elementary school, then this is a wonderful place to send them to prepare. I have one child still enrolled and the other just started kinder this year after having spent PK3 and PK4 at LPS. My 5yr old was so prepared, that on the 2nd day of school he was ready to be dropped off and picked up from school with no fuss. First day of kinder was a breeze and he acted like an old pro. The school itself is not sparkling new and high tech, but it is well equipped and fantastically staffed. The kids learn and play and end up very well rounded and well adjusted. I wouldn't trust my kiddos to anyone else. Love LPS!

My child has fun and this school and gets a lot of hands-on learning. The teachers seem to love their job and the children. They are a play-based school, which is what I want for my child. The playground is awesome and the children get to spend a good amount of time on it. The building is older so it's not fancy or updated but those things don't matter to me. I love this school!

My 4 year old son had attended an excellent preschool in Katy for two years. I researched Little People School and took a tour. I immediately found the school to be warm and charming compared to the mega-preschool previously. The staff is warm and welcoming. The school is older and needs cosmetic updating. The playground is park-like with huge oak trees and hand-crafted play structures along with traditional swings, slides, etc. It is a large play area and the school provides, scooters, wagons and other toys for outdoor play. My son has unfortunately has had injuries due to the nature of the toys and natural enviroment. Cuts on his face and has had a black eye. Staff contacted me each time and applied the necessary ice pack/bandaid when needed. My son is very dirty when I pick him up. Paint, dirt from playground, food, etc. don't care for this very much. This preschool is more laxed on regiment and more of a monassory style. No time outs...redirection for disciplenary issues. We came from a very straight-laced preschool and this has been a nice change for my child. The school supports individuality and freedom of expression.

LPS is a great school. My son attended there one year but I loved it. They do a wonderful job of teaching through play. The children arent even aware that they are learning. They have a wonderful playground with large shade trees. Its a not a mega-preschool, where no one knows your name. Everyone knows you there and they make you feel right at home.
