My daughter is in Mrs. Graber's class. She absolutely has blossomed so far this year. My daughter is Autistic (High Functioning) she is absolutely thriving from the way Mrs. Graber and Mrs. Alvarez are running their classroom. We still have bad days just like every kid, but overall it's been excellent. my daughter couldn't hold a pencil and couldn't write anything. Now she can pick out letters, write her own name, is constantly singing her ABC's and trying to write words and letters to me and her dad. The IEP meeting was great and the administration is awesome. The VP knows us by first name, not just my daughter, and asks how she is doing any time I see him. the school's security system is great too. You have to have a tag to pick the kids up and they make sure the child is in hand before releasing the next one. Same with drop off. Parents aren't allowed past the doors without signing in with an ID. I could go on and on. I wouldn't change a thing about this school and the experience we have had. We were truly blessed to be able to have her attend here.
My daughter was in Ms Vaughan's class. She has the patience of Job and she really care about her students. She called when my daughter was absent with a stomach virus and the flu. The Vice Principal is GREAT also. The counselor Mrs. Buquero, has parenting classes. She really care about parent involvement. Mrs. Buquero is a true blessing. The front office staff know you by name and ALWAYS HELPFUL. I loved it.
We love Clifton. Our experience here has been wonderful. The staff and teachers are amazing. They work so hard to give the kids an opportunity to love to learn. My children can't wait to go to school everyday. This year has been exactly what I wanted my children to experience. Thank you so much Clifton!
