My 5 year old son has been attending Blue Ivey for a year and absolutely loves it! The teachers are very positive and encouraging with a staff that is very professional and caring. They teach and instill great family values; with the students saying the Pledge of Allegiance, singing the national anthem, the Texas pledge and praying before each meal. The "centers" Montessori method style of self-directed learning activity is well received by the students as it helps in the learning and discovery process. And with additional classes such as music, spanish, computer, dance and Stretch-N-Grow, the students really get a well rounded education and development. And as parents we look forward to and enjoy the Christmas and spring recitals as well. We would highly recommend them to any parent looking for a true gem of a school!
My daughter has been attending Blue Ivey for a little over a year and loves it. She's 3 and can write her name! Students say the pledge every morning and pray before meals. Optional classes are available such as dance, computer and aerobics. Class sizes are small and the teaches are great. Highly recommend!
