An exceptional Montessori school!! Our son started attending ACG when he was three. After visiting several other Montessori schools in the area we decided on ACG for several reasons. Just the "feeling" when you walk in the door tells so much. It is obvious the director and staff have a genuine love for what they do. The teachers are Montessori certified so the materials and classroom are truly "Montessori". The communication between the school and parents is excellent. Our son has grown so much academically and socially. He looks forward to going to school everyday and his little brother will be starting soon. ACG is by far a top notch school!!
This is our second year at the school, and we have two children there. We extensively toured other Montessori schools in the area before picking this school. We are very happy with the loving attention and education our children receive here.
This is our third year at ACG and we love the teachers, the environment and the all-round development in our child. Our child is growing to be a confident, intelligent and loving child. The teachers maintain a respectful, lively and positive environment and encourage the children to learn and grow at their pace. A true montessori curriculum gem amid all the progressive high stress schools in the area.
Our daughter attended A Child's Garden for two years. We are very happy with the education she received while she was there. The director and teachers have a lot of experience and we knew we could completely trust them. They really focus on each child's individual needs. Our daughter learned to read, to add. She learned a lot about science and geography. She is very well-prepared to go on to elementary school. In addition, the school is small and has a family feel. It provides a safe, nurturing environment for the students. We particularly enjoyed taking part in the Fall festival, the open house where the children demonstrated the activities they do during the day, the Earth Day celebration where the children planted flowers, the international pot luck where each family brought a dish that represented their heritage. We also loved that the children had a music lesson once a week and were exposed to Spanish. A variety of great after school activities were also available. We would recommend this school without hesitation. It was very hard to say goodbye at the end of the year.
My three children attended this school. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good Montessori school. The staff and teachers really care about the children that attend. They are dedicated to teaching and training children. If you are choosing between this one and others in the area, you can't go wrong with this one. It is the best one in the Carrollton/Coppell/Farmers Branch area.
My daughter attended ACG for 4 years and graduated last spring. It was sad to say goodbye to the teachers and administrators that took such good care of my child. They are truly dedicated to their work and to the children. Each child recieves individual attention to increase their confidence and skills. Thanks to these special teachers my daughter has a head start in her education.
My two sons attended ACG. This was a blessing!! They graduated ACG and now attending public school. They both are so prepared. The new public school teachers are amazed at how they love math, science, reading and their handwriting is so beautiful. I was so nervous sending them to public school, but I have received so many compliments on my boys. I just can thank ACG for all they taught my children academically and behaviorally. I wish ACG went through 12th grade!!! The teachers are the best!!! and the staff is fantastic!!!!!
A few months ago my father passed the way and I had to travel out of town. I want to mention that aside from the emotional strain I faced, A Child's Garden provided my my daughter with a safe and nurturing environment while I was dealing with my own loss. Thanks to their schedule my husband was able to maintain his office hours 8-5 and we both knew that our daughter was well taken care of; especially, the director and Miss Maria who went over and beyond to pitch in during our difficult times. I find it very important to mention that aside from the things a school 'should' provide, A Child's Garden treats children as their first priority. And we, working parents, will not be able to balance out our roles/schedules without their continuos support (academically and emotionally). I am very grateful to this school.
If you are looking for a strong academic base offered in a truely peaceful and nurturing environment for your beginner, preschooler or kindergartener, this is the school for you. A Child's Garden was our children's home for more than 6 years, starting with 2002. Our two children thrived while learning about science, language and math, geography, and more through the Montessori educational philosophy. The teachers at ACG show their love for the children by teaching through examples of social grace and respect of each child's individuality, and of the surroundings. The entire staff at ACG provide an exceptional knowledge in the field, and offer a true to the core Montessori experience. We reccomend this school to parents who desire a happy, well rounded educational experience for their children. The tuition is relistically priced. The education obtained here is definitely above the rest. ACG is a home away from home for us, and many more.
My child just graduated from ACG. She had been in ACG for 4 years and had learned a lot from school. ACG provides a good learning environment and a strong academic discipline ACG is a great school to go to.
