My daughter has attended Happy Beginning for over 5 years and she/we have never had any problems or concerns with anything. I can assure that Happy Beginnings is not only the cleanest day care in Beaumont but the safest for your children to be at.

Please note that my child hasn't attended for 4 years now but obviously this place hasn't changed at all. The 6 months he stayed at HB will be my biggest mom guilt ever. The turnover was horrible, they never knew who's room my 18 month old had been in all day; could never find his belongings. They watched tv all morning while sitting in the cafeteria, then stood around the gym the rest of the day begging for attention from their workers who huddled in chairs talking amongst themselves. There are tons of other horror stories I could tell you, including the time I was casually told that he had "snuck" out of his playpen & was playing in the toilet. How much supervision did he NOT have? He could've drowned & died! Last straw was when I picked up my toddler about 15 min before closing & he was in the office with the female owner & a few other children (everyone else had been picked up). My baby's face was full of snot & obviously been crying. I asked if his allergies had been acting up(though my gut knew the truth) & her response was "I told him to go to the office so I guess he thought he was in trouble & started crying. WHY is my baby afraid of the office at 18 months old?!? Don't.

This daycare is not a good choice for your child. The staff are not mature enough to watch the children, they are very young and inexperienced. The owners are very inconsiderate of you and the child once an issue happens here they will deny it occurred unless it's life threatening. My child was injured here by another child. The teacher told me everything that led up to the injury, which indicated to me, that they watched this matter escalate to an injury. The owner told me my daughter slipped on a fresh waxed floor, but my daughter explained she was hit in the forehead by another two year old much bigger than her. I was called in the middle of the day to pick up my child by the owner, and found my child with a lump in the center of her forehead the size of a large gumball , this bruise was blue when I arrived. They showed no sympathy towards this matter, I brought my child to the ems, immediately. The owner gave me a false story to cover her and her staff, these people neglected my daughter, and didn't protect her from harm. I immediately contacted cps.

We have 2 children who have been attending this daycare for 6 years now. It has been the most wonderful experience for us. Our children both have wonderful techers. We are always greeted with a smile and I can drop them off knowing they are in good hands. They have shown significant academic improvements and we could not be happier. We will never bring our children anywhere else.

This place is horrible, management is ignorant and the only thing professional about them is the way they dress. Director has no idea how to deal with issues. Once my child was sick and even vomited, I was not advised until I picked them up. The teacher said they called the office and let them know, when I confronted management they said oh we didn't get a chance. Please, that's a disgrace. My childs class was always poorly supplied. Always tried to keep me out of the loop on my childs behavior. I knew we had to leave when my child came home and said that they were bored all day. Not a good environment..it may look nice on the outside but its people that make the standard of a place and this place is horrible.
