First off, I find the two negative reviews from the same date (April 17th, 2013) very suspicious. Two one star reviews on the same date when everyone else posts 5 stars? Perhaps the competition is getting jealous... My son has been attending Cornerstone since he was 18 months and I have nothing but positive comments about this school. It is very clean and the teachers are fantastic! My son (who is now 5) comes home almost daily talking about what he has learned that day and shows excitement in what he is learning there. Mr. and Mrs. Logan (the owners) are always very warm and welcoming and I feel encouraged to be a part of my son's day. I get weekly emails from his teacher letting us know what they are working on and what homework that my wife and I need to help my son with. I could go on and on about the positive experience that I have had with Cornerstone but the five stars speak for themselves. This school comes highly recommended.
My kids have been attending Cornerstone for over a year now, and I recommend this school full heartedly, as I haven t noticed any areas of concern. The school has very warm, welcoming, and professional environment, strong curriculum, as well as caring and attentive teachers. It's obvious to me that my kids are happy there and love their teachers. The owners are wonderful people; they truly care about creating a home away from home feeling in their school. I really appreciate that they care about the proper nutrition and fresh meals are prepared daily with organic ingredients when possible. Highly-processed and sugary items are avoided and never served. These wholesome lunches and snacks are included in the very reasonable tuition cost. I can always talk with the teacher about my child s day. My youngest child s teacher offered great support and advice for potty training. My oldest, although she left the school when she turned 6, but her teacher still keeps in touch with her.
Wow I'm very surprised to see these negative reviews here. My child has been at Cornerstone for over six months and we have been extremely pleased with the teachers, staff, and the owners are very friendly and really seem to support the teachers and they're frequently helping teachers in a variety of ways. I have not noticed a problem with ratios or turnover. My child's teachers have been there 5+ years. When I have a concern I have always directly addressed the teacher with great responsiveness. They call me to clarify things related to OTC medication and even to let me know of minor issues that I wouldn't think warrants a phone call. Everyone is warm, loving and to me appear to enjoy working with the children.
This school was AWFUL!! In every since of the word! My daughter went here when she was 15 mo. The school was over crowed, teachers listened to their head phones and they were never in ratio. I was attracted to the clean look of the school, but knew something was wrong when my happy 15 mo old became angry and sad. The director accused my husband and I of teaching my daughter to have aggression issues and we left the school. Study about Texas licensing rules, before enrolling your child here. My daughter had no less than 5 new teachers, due to turnover. There were several times I picked up my daughter only to find a child climbing on a bookshelf, the teacher had her iPod on and was not paying attention to the class. Not to mention the numerous times my daughter was bit. This school is awful and the owners aren't conceded about kids, they are looking for profits. DONT SEND YOUR SWEET CHILD HERE!!
Owner are awful. "teachers" are horrible! Its obvious the people employees there are there for the paycheck. I agree with previous parent. The staff is awful and owners are rude and don't care about the families there.
