This is a safe place to share your honest opinions of a school, whether good or bad.
Reading Friends of Aledo is TRULY a school full of compassionate, loving and caring teachers and staff. From the moment you pull up in the convenient drop off line, the staff is waving, smiling and WAITING to hug your child. Every staff member knows your child's name and LOVES them genuinely.
Our oldest daughter (now in 1st grade) went though the Pre-K and K-bridge program and she is reading WAY above grade level, she is a confident student, and she is kind and has great manners all because of the teachers at Reading Friends. Our 3 year old is now in the Primary class and she LOVES going to school!
The curriculum is structured, yet FUN and challenging for each child that WILL set them ahead of the norm.
The student/teacher ratio is perfect allowing individualized attention to your child but learning how to wait patiently and take turns is also something I love my children learning at school.
The classrooms and playground are gorgeous and the teachers spend so much time making them comfortable and "homey" feeling for your children.
Your child and your whole family will be LOVED by all the teachers and staff. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Diane Taylor and her staff. They are special people and you will be SO blessed by this school.
I had heard that Reading Friends was known as "the happy place" among the students and kids and it's SO TRUE. Our son (3) begs to go to school every single day and the amount he has learned is beyond our wildest dreams. His speech has come light years, he excitedly talks about the letters of the alphabet and what words start with what letters. He says he loves his teachers and classmates (by name) every single night before bed. We could never have imagined a better school experience for our first child. It has made it easier to send him off to school for the first time knowing the care he is getting is impeccable, in addition to his education. There aren't enough great things I could say about RF!
Although the children who attend Reading Friends of Aledo are young (ages 2-6), the teachers at this school instill manners, kindness, and leadership skills in each child. Academics is only a small part of what the children learn at this special place!
Reading Friends of Aledo is GREAT! Two of my boys went to RF over the span of 3 years. They stayed after school for enrichment classes and attended their summer camps. I can't say enough good about the love, care, and learning environment offered at RF. The children are there to learn - mine were both reading before kindergarten; and had fun doing it. Diane Taylor (owner) is a brilliant, hard working business woman and lover of children - this school has her heart in it! Diane takes great care in the professionally educated teachers she hires. My kids loved each day of school, they experienced so much and really developed their love of learning. You won't regret sending your children here- your kids will love it as much as you do!
Reading Friends of Aledo is an asset to the school system and community. Diane Taylor and her staff do an incredible job with the students in preparing them for "tomorrow". They go above and beyond in training and making certain the environment for the children is quality and safe. Congrats Diane and wishing you continued success!!!!
Reading Friends of Aledo is a great example of caring not only for a community, but the future of that community as well. Diane Taylor and her staff do an excellent job of educating our youth. We are proud to have their presence in our community.
