I toured several daycares before choosing gingerbread house. They were the only ones that actually gave me attention during the tour and had an open door policy, I could call or pop in any time I pleased. So we chose them and it was less than 3 minutes from my work. My son was 11 months old when he started, it was our first daycare experience and well currently our LAST. I wouldn't even trust them with my cat! Several times he came home with bruises, yes hes learning to walk it happens, but on his last day, the day after I gave his 2 weeks notice, he had a large bruise on hos forehead and no accident report and no explanation from his teacher.. I called several times the next day to speak with the "director" and no response, no one even answered the phone. I went up there the next day they were open and ironically she couldnt pull the video and check it, nor was she willing. She yelled at me and argued that she didn't agree with my parenting choices because my child is spoiled from staying with his grandparents for the first 11 months of his life while his dad and I worked. She decided it was appropriate to repeatedly tell me "yeah okay well see about that one" everytime I said anything. Needless to say this place is TERRIBLE. We lasted 1 month, she tried to tell me my son screamed and cried so much because he was around other kids and wasnt accustomed to others, I then told her I took him to an in home daycare of someone new and there was 10 other kids there and he hadnt cried at all. Clearly I offended her. Please be aware and do not take your child here unless you're okay with unexplained bruises weekly!

My son is now 10 , he went to Gingerbread house for 3 years, he learned more than most kids his age..In fact when he went to elementary, he was top in his class. thanks to the great teachers at Gingerbread house...Even today, he is more advanced than most in his class. I am a single dad, and this place was my blessing. Thanks so much to all there...

I love this Daycare. My son goes there and he loves it. He is learning so much and is even potty training. They have great teachers. The two year old class is just amazing. The teachers are so nice and sweet to the kids. I watch through the window and they sing songs work on flash cards and dance. They are really active with them. I wish they could be their teachers for life. Please go check it out. If you have a two year old Ms. jacque is amazing. You won't be disappointed.

This is a terrible daycare. Do not take your child here. You will regret it! They hire unqualified staff. They are dishonest and hide issues from you rather than being up front about mistakes they make.

My daughter attends The Gingerbread House Daycare, she absolutly loves it, Jessica the assistant director is so caring for all the kids, my daughter stops everyday when we leave to hug her goodbye, as jessica tells her she loves her, I can see the care in this place, she has recently moved to the 4 year old class where Ms. T is wonderful. I would recommened this place to anyone.

My daughter has been at Gingerbread for a little over a year now and we've been very pleased! We checked out a lot of daycares in the area before selecting Gingerbread. I am very picky, and Gingerbread definitely seems to be the best overall value. I wouldn't say they're perfect, but my daughter seems to enjoy it there and after many unannounced visits at all different times of the day, I feel very comfortable with her being there. The teachers we have had have all been great! My only complaints would be that they switch teachers around a lot from one classroom to the other unnanounced, I would prefer more of a Bible curriculum, and a little bit better quality food with more veggies, but for the price I can understand. However, it's affordable compared to other places, my daughter has fun and gets great care.

I hated the fact that I had to send my child to daycare, but since being relocated several hours away from any family we had no choice. We toured several daycares before our child was born and found this to be the best place. The office staff brought us to look at each room, meet the teachers and give us a brief run down of the day's activities. Other daycares we looked at were either so strict that it didn't seem to give the children time to play or they had no curriculum what so ever. Gingerbread has a good balance of both. My child started there at 8 weeks old and now after a year, we are still happy about our choice. He never cries when we bring him in the morning and is actually excited to walk down the hall and goes right to his room which says a lot. We get a report every day about our child's activities and the staff is always friendly to both us and our child. After a full year of sending my child there, I wouldn't send him anywhere else. I would highly recommend Gingerbread House to any of our friends.

After my 6-week old daughter's first week at Gingerbread, I have to admit that I wasn't sold. The facility is not state of the art by any means. However, I have grown to absolutely love it there. I would pay twice the amount for the care provided by Gingerbread. In the infant "gumdrops" room, the women are amazing. They treated my daughter as if she were their own child. They ask questions, they encouraged me to ask questions, and they were so incredibly accomodating. The women that work in the office are always willing to talk, listen, and help.

The staff is very nice and attentive to my child. My son has asthma, excema, a more than a few food allergies. They do a great job of taking care of him. They teach the children all that you would learn in a Pre-K class and in Sunday School.. Love it!
