My son is now 10 , he went to Gingerbread house for 3 years, he learned more than most kids his age..In fact when he went to elementary, he was top in his class. thanks to the great teachers at Gingerbread house...Even today, he is more advanced than most in his class. I am a single dad, and this place was my blessing. Thanks so much to all there...
I love this Daycare. My son goes there and he loves it. He is learning so much and is even potty training. They have great teachers. The two year old class is just amazing. The teachers are so nice and sweet to the kids. I watch through the window and they sing songs work on flash cards and dance. They are really active with them. I wish they could be their teachers for life. Please go check it out. If you have a two year old Ms. jacque is amazing. You won't be disappointed.
This is a terrible daycare. Do not take your child here. You will regret it! They hire unqualified staff. They are dishonest and hide issues from you rather than being up front about mistakes they make.
My daughter attends The Gingerbread House Daycare, she absolutly loves it, Jessica the assistant director is so caring for all the kids, my daughter stops everyday when we leave to hug her goodbye, as jessica tells her she loves her, I can see the care in this place, she has recently moved to the 4 year old class where Ms. T is wonderful. I would recommened this place to anyone.
My daughter has been at Gingerbread for a little over a year now and we've been very pleased! We checked out a lot of daycares in the area before selecting Gingerbread. I am very picky, and Gingerbread definitely seems to be the best overall value. I wouldn't say they're perfect, but my daughter seems to enjoy it there and after many unannounced visits at all different times of the day, I feel very comfortable with her being there. The teachers we have had have all been great! My only complaints would be that they switch teachers around a lot from one classroom to the other unnanounced, I would prefer more of a Bible curriculum, and a little bit better quality food with more veggies, but for the price I can understand. However, it's affordable compared to other places, my daughter has fun and gets great care.
I hated the fact that I had to send my child to daycare, but since being relocated several hours away from any family we had no choice. We toured several daycares before our child was born and found this to be the best place. The office staff brought us to look at each room, meet the teachers and give us a brief run down of the day's activities. Other daycares we looked at were either so strict that it didn't seem to give the children time to play or they had no curriculum what so ever. Gingerbread has a good balance of both. My child started there at 8 weeks old and now after a year, we are still happy about our choice. He never cries when we bring him in the morning and is actually excited to walk down the hall and goes right to his room which says a lot. We get a report every day about our child's activities and the staff is always friendly to both us and our child. After a full year of sending my child there, I wouldn't send him anywhere else. I would highly recommend Gingerbread House to any of our friends.
After my 6-week old daughter's first week at Gingerbread, I have to admit that I wasn't sold. The facility is not state of the art by any means. However, I have grown to absolutely love it there. I would pay twice the amount for the care provided by Gingerbread. In the infant "gumdrops" room, the women are amazing. They treated my daughter as if she were their own child. They ask questions, they encouraged me to ask questions, and they were so incredibly accomodating. The women that work in the office are always willing to talk, listen, and help.
The staff is very nice and attentive to my child. My son has asthma, excema, a more than a few food allergies. They do a great job of taking care of him. They teach the children all that you would learn in a Pre-K class and in Sunday School.. Love it!
