Munsey Kindergarten

I love Munsey's school, but especially the Kindergarten program! My son has a mild autism spectrum disorder so we opted for the Munsey half day kindergarten program (to prepare him for main stream kindergarten next year) after he had a successful experience with the 4 year old pre-k program. The kindergarten teachers have been there for quite some time and are absolutely fantastic with my son. They do not let his disability keep him from getting a fantastic education. Quite the opposite. They have learned to read my son and his behaviors and address them appropriately and positively. I have only seen the head teacher "not happy" one time and it was because she was very very sick. She is always happy and positive with the children, even when I've popped in unannounced. I have no negative comments whatsoever about this class or the school. When other preschools/kindergarten programs shied away from us because of my son's ASD, Munsey embraced and welcomed us. I would highly recommend this school to anyone!

I was recommended by a co-worker to place my child at Munsey. It was one of the worst experiences my child has ever had! I highly recommend you do your research before subjecting your child to this type of atmosphere! If you don't fit into thier mold of what a parent or child needs to be, they are not willing to teach your child!

My son attended Kindergarten at Munsey this year, since he missed the cutoff for public school by 2 weeks. He was ready to go. Mrs. Knowles and Mrs. Adams were great teachers. He wanted to go to school everyday and was upset when school was out. I'd recommend Munsey.

My daughter was a student at Munsey Kindergarten last year. Her teachers, Mrs. Knowles and Mrs. Adams, were wonderful with her. They instilled in her a desire to learn, and she is still enthusiastic and excited about school.
