Profile Completeness

BASIC

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

The Goddard School has been an incredible place for our daughter to grow and learn throughout her early childhood years. She started at 6 weeks old in the Infant classroom and received the most loving and individualized care possible. As she grew and moved through the classrooms she received an education that was far greater than I could have provided for her at home. I love the feedback that I get everyday from her teachers and also regular updates about her academic progress throughout the year. There is no other place that I would rather have my daughter than at The Goddard School!

Great school! Highly recommend. Our oldest son had attended another infant program which we were not pleased with. After touring Goddard we knew right away it was the program for us. The teachers and office staff were so friendly and warm. The classrooms were clean and welcoming. Both of our children attended Goddard for many years. We enjoyed the opportunities for parent involvement, family activities, and how much our children learned not just academically but socially as well. This school offers the chance for child directed play in a structured classroom environment with teachers who are educated and continue training in Early Childhood Education. The teachers are flexible and interested in working with families to help children realize their full potential. This is truly a great program and fun leaning experience for children..

my kids have been at the Goddard School for now three years. the was no choice once we saw the results in learning and behavior after the start at the Goddard School. The staff, teachers, & owners truly care about each individual child. I would continue to send my kids to the Goddard School if they offered elementary school :)

Love the teachers and staff. The educational resources are worth it! My child loves going to preschool everyday! It is not just a daycare, it is actually an educational facility

Going to this daycare center is like having an additional job! All food must be brought by the parents, linens must be brought by the parents, books in the classroom are those that are donated by families... You WILL get called off of work on a regular basis. The infection control methods are terrible (sippy cups are kept in a bucket where the kids throw them after drinking out of them so everyone is ALWAYS sick), ratios are the maximum allowed by the state, and worst of all, they don't actually teach the children anything. Basically, this "school" provides less than most other childcare centers, but charges a premium for doing so.

Currently my son is in the Infant 1 room, so I can't speak too much to the education they will recieve there, but I can say that I am extremely impressed with everything else so far. Even in the Infant 1 room they have a lesson plan each day and attempt to get through it as much as possible. Just this morning I saw pictures of my 12 week old boy painting (given he isn't grasping for objects yet, I'm guessing it was a very assisted activity, but cute and neat none the less). For those of you with babies, in the 6 weeks he has been there, he hasn't once come one with a rash, or dirty diaper. They keep it very clean and are very good about attempting to keep germs from spreading. Most importantly though, the teachers are wonderful, and are clearly excited to see my son each day (not to mention that every teacher there has a degree in early childhood development or education). I would highly recommend the Goddard School to anyone.

My daughter was only at Goddard for one semester, but her development was exponential! I was consistently impressed with her exposure and the many things offered her while attending Goddard School. I was sorry she grew out of it! You will be doing your children a wonderful service if you enroll them here!
