Mauldin United Methodist Preschool

I sent all 4 of my kids to this preschool over 10 yr. span. They are so caring and teach your child. They will have many good memories. It is like leaving your child with a family member. I do not have family in the area. You will not be disappointed. It is difficult to get in because of the 'word of mouth: effect. Michelle Doherty

The school is fantastic. The teachers are outstanding and the director is very experienced and fair (and nice). They have a curriculum that includes Spanish, P.E., Music, Art, Children's worship and Science. The negatives include: the school is super competitive to get into (it is a lottery-based selection process) and it is mandatory that parents attend several holiday-themed parties a year. The hours are 9 am - 12 pm which makes it difficult for working parents to have their children there (after school is offered a few days a week from 12 pm - 2:30 pm) and it is closed all of the same holidays as the public schools (and you are charged for these 'no school' days).

My little girl attends MUMC. She loves going to school and learning. The teachers are very friendly and have a real joy for the children. We could not be happier.
