I have had the good fortune to observe Erica Thompson's interaction with children in the classroom for 30 years. Erica is popping with passion about life and learning. That passion and her understanding of emotional elements are highlights of her remarkable teaching style. Her curiosity about all things is contagious and her creative, flexible applications keep the classroom atmosphere fresh. Erica unwittingly endears herself to children whose sense of friendship with her increases and deepens their learning experience. Erica empowers her students by happily demonstrating the meaning and value of responsibility.
The educational quality of this small, neighborhood preschool is outstanding. My husband and I have only the highest regard for Erica Thompson, who has a gift for working with children. The Schoolhouse's expository learning curriculum opens up new worlds and its responsive classroom dynamic creates a safe, fun learning environment. Both my boys attended for 2 years and I only wish I could send them for the rest of their education!
