My 5 year old son attends PIV and loves it. He has attended the 4's program and now is in the PreK program. All of his teachers have been very helpful in his development. Susan Drumm is creative and focuses on appropriate development. I have friends who have kids going to other schools that are pushing academics to such some children, it is not necessary and PIV reflects on the important teachings such as listening skills, discovery learning and play. I would highly recommend PIV to any parent looking for a preschool with a caring attitude that offers their child a sense of security, a growth in their independence and best of all a smile on his/her face. We are sending our daughter to PIV Sept 2010.

This program focuses on what many other preschools have forgotten...that children learn best through play. In an age where there's pressure on children and parents to embrace academics at such an early age, Preschool in the Village has tremendous success preparing children for kindergarten in a more age appropriate manner. This approach is also much better for boys, who by the way are struggling in the rigorous academic system that is unfortunately emerging.
