This is a WONDERFUL school! I can't say enough glowing things about the fantastic, caring teachers at this school. It is a warm, nurturing environment where each child can work at his/her own pace. With the Montessori approach, they learn concepts in an integrated, hands-on fashion, and the learning is such fun that it doesn't even feel like work to the kids. My son has even mastered fractions in kindergarten! We are amazed at the academic achievement, but love that they also learn how to be good citizens and friends. They take many fun field trips, including one to the food bank to deliver their contributions for families who need a little help. The social awareness, music, and foreign language instruction are wonderful extras. The aftercare is great, too. I recommend this school with my highest enthusiasm!

An excellent place for children to be introduce into learning. The teachers are wonderful. They are caring and nurturing when they need to be, but also do wonderfully well in teaching the children right and wrong and how to be a good citizen. The academic program is superb. My daughter has done incredibly well here in the K program and is very well prepared for first grade next year. I have 4 children and my youngest is here, my other 3 went to other programs in the area. This, by far, is the best pre-school program in the Upper Valley.

No... thank goodness. Not everything in life is a lesson. Relaxation is an art that should be practiced more. Sometimes its ok to just "play".

Each toy DOES teach something, but it is up to the adult to make it interesting by being encouraging and specific.
