CBMS is a wonderful little school. My child always looks forward to going and would go every day if she could. The owner and staff are caring and well trained (all have degrees and years of teaching experience). You can tell they really enjoy what they do. My daughter has learned so much it amazes me! She is always singing new songs and surprising me with her ever growing knowledge and vocabulary. Recently she pointed out a dinosaur in a book I had never heard of and is now recognizing number and letters while we are running errands. I love volunteering in the classroom just to be able to watch the learning happen. When there has been a question or concern I have always felt comfortable asking, the owner welcomes discussion and always has an open ear and heart. If only all schools were are as amazing as this one. I would definitely recommend CBMS to my friends and family! And if I have another child I m signing them up the day I find out they are coming!
This is not a good school. The owner whom has the Montessori certification employs two none certified teachers and an intern; one of the teachers only has a two year degree and the other has none . Early on in the year the owner is present 3 days a week, then as school year goes on; she is at school only for 2 days. The owner tends to be preoccupied with her family problems. The owner and the teachers appear sweet when you are around but they are mean when you are not there or if you ask questions about how they deal with kids and teaching topics. I would never send my kids here.
I can't imagine having my daughter anywhere else these past 3 years! She started in 2 day preschool, moved to 3 day preschool and is now in the full day 5 day Kindergarten program. The staff is amazing! Caring, creative, very qualified, attentive to each childs needs...I could go on and on. My daughter is very advanced and loves the challenge of the self-paced learning that Montessori offers.
Out of all three of my kids, one went here and it was our least enjoyable preschool experience. I just wasn;t thrilled about the teachers or alck or community involvement. Save your money and go someone better.
