My youngest started nursery school at the co-op in the fall and we have been extremely pleased with the teaching staff. The nursery teacher is very knowledgeable and has a keen sense of her students' needs. The nursery curriculum involves lots of cutting, coloring, finger painting, play dough, learning numbers and letters, music, and outside play time. The teacher-student ratio is really good and beautiful, clean building!

The Windham Co-op provided an exceptional learning experience to both of my children from nursery through kindergarten. The teachers are nurturing, experienced, well-trained and enthusiastic. The school's curriculum incorporates math and reading programs used in Windham public schools as well as Handwriting without Tears. The programs include a lot of science as well. The staff and parent board are responsive, eager to address, and open to parent concerns and suggestions. The school community is tight-knit, supportive, and very involved with many of the children and families maintaining friendships well into public school and beyond. My children are confident, inquisitive learners and enjoy school which I attribute in part to their experience at the Co-op. Every school has its' strengths and weaknesses, but the Windham Co-op's strengths far exceed any of its' weaknesses!

Both of my children have attended here and I think the parent involvement is wonderful and a great opportunity! My 2 complaints are the curriculum and the staff. They need to re-evaluate their curriculum and if they are really preparing kids for our public school. The staff does not have the enthusiasm that preschoolers should be around. It is great for a nursery program-first school experience and parent involvement is great-but they have a few things they need to really work on.

The Coop is a fanstastic place to start your child's education. The staff is intelligent and dedicated. They all work very hard to produce a learning environment where children can thrive. Lastly, the parental involvement truly adds to the experience.
