Wilhelm School is nothing short of excellent!!!! All of my children have loved attending it. The same teachers have been around forever! Ms. Wilhelm is one of the sweetest and kindest ladies. She just recently retired this year and now Ms. Gibbs is running it. She has been with the school for years and years. I absolutely adore her!! The school is old, but that's what gives it so much character! It's not about having the latest and greatest things, it's about teaching the children just like we were taught when we were little. They love your children like their own and pour so much time and energy into them!!! We love Wilhelm and thank God for leading us to a great school and good people :)

This is an excellent preschool and we have loved it for our 3-4.5 year old!

Wilhelm's is an older, well established preschool. Its fairly small size should be seen as a plus as each child is able to get the attention they need. The teachers and aides seem to really enjoy the children they work with and my son is just crazy about his teachers. We like the pace of instruction and all the fun projects and special days. There's also emphasis on learning good behavior and manners. We were looking for a place that would make our son's first school experience a positive and beneficial one and would prepare him for kindergarten. Wilhelm's definitely met these expectations!

Wilhelm's starts with 2 1/2 year olds (website is wrong). I chose this school because my husband went to Wilhelm's 39 years ago. It is a very nice school. My daughter went there last year on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-12. They offer an extended day "lunch bunch" from 12-2 for $7 a day. They also offer 2, 3 and 5 day programs for 3 and 4 year olds. Mrs. Barnes was great. Each week had a different theme, like "my family", "around the world", "under the sea"... There were 9 kids in her class. Every Friday they bring home their tote bag with the drawings and crafts they did that week. There were many different activities like bringing home the class mascot, bringing in a favorite book, sharing a favorite toy from home, special snacks, holiday shows for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and end of the year. They also have a summer camp program that was great. I have signed my daughter up for the upcoming year for the 3 day program for 3 year olds. I love Wilhelm's. I think it is a great value and the teachers are wonderful. They inspire the children as well as teach.
