My husband and I have had wonderful experience with this school. Our daughter had been in another preschool and we were so delighted that she was able to transfer into BPS. The classrooms are cheerful and the teachers are warm and very experienced. My daughter is now in public school and she still talks about her friends and teachers from BPS. This past fall, we enrolled our youngest daughter (who is 2). She had been home since she was born and we were concerned that she would have difficulty adjusting. She is thriving there and is so happy to enter into the classroom every day. The directors are also very accessible and in tune with the development and needs of the children. And the selection and quality of food served to the children is impressive (if only that were the case with all schools!) It is a varied and healthy menu. We would recommend this facility without hesitation.
Bethlehem Preschool is a top daycare/preschool in the area. The teachers have been there for years (some more than 20 years), which is saying a lot for a preschool and daycare. The staff are patient and kind, and I have never heard them yelling at the children. The children seem happy during the day. As a parent and a provider of itinerant services, I have the opportunity to see the different school from the inside-out, and I would highly recommend Bethlehem Preschool to anyone looking for daycare or preschool services in the Bethlehem/Delmar/Glenmont area!
We are sorry that the family who posted on November 2 was not able to make the transition into our program. It takes some families longer than others to develop the ties that foster a comfortable relationship. We have provided excellent care for over 35 years, and have many, many satisfied parents who will be glad to provide great references. Our door is always open and we are happy to respond to family concerns.
I have 2 children that have attended this school over more than 4 years. My son has asthma and we have never had any environmental issues with the school. I can honestly say I have never had experiences as posted on Nov. 2, 2010. Although I obviously wasn't there for whatever was happening as stated in the previous post but I can most certainly say that the classroom teachers are top notch. The directors are kind with the children and always accessible if something needs to be addressed on an administrative level - or otherwise for that matter. I highly recommend this school.
