I think many will be fooled by the tour, like I was. The owner is good at telling you all about the school and all the "wonderful" things that they center has, however I am not happy at all with how things have been going. The director will tell you that most of the teachers are certified, which is great but the teachers keep leaving when they find a real teaching job. My son has had 6 different teachers in the past 2 years (in different rooms but still a huge turnover rate). It is very hard for a young child to go through so many changes and transitions. I also do not like that the reading and writing program that is forced upon my 3 year old. I have read many articles that say this is not age appropriate, and my son would come home crying. Last week due to another new teacher we left the center and hired a nanny. This center seems great and the owner is great at making you think everything is wonderful, take my advice don't send your child there, save yourself the time and frustration. I would look for a nanny they are around the same price and give your child one on one attention.

The poor review of this school is completely fabricated... most likely from an envious school in the area. I have a daughter in the 3s room and this [girl who was there for two months] does not exist. The teachers also don't give timeouts, but I have seen (via internet camera) children get separated for hurting others. This is exactly what I would expect them to do. The school is wonderful, the teachers are certified experts who genuinely care, and the curriculum is tailored for each child's abilities. My daughter loves it here! Take a tour and see for yourself. :)

They have a terrible teaching method at this school and I would not wish it on anyone. My daughter was three and last here for only two months before I took her out and everyday she would come home sad saying "I don't want to go back to that school". They believe that every child has to be developing at the same level at the same time - if not they are penalized by not allowing to advance with others etc. and they still use timeouts bY forcefully holding children down in their chairs etc. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE.

Expose your child to as many activities as they show interest in. They should not be expected to fulfill YOUR dreams. If you support their interest(s) it can grow into a lifelong passion. In turn, they will bond with others who share that interest.

Americans seem to value extroverts more than introverts. I came out of my shell when I found friends and activities that I liked (high school). And it just took off from there. Perhaps shy kids are just pickier about whose company they keep.
