If you are looking for a pre school or daycare for your child/children look no more. I have had all 5 of my children in Count On US over the past 19 years. My oldest child (now 21) was the very first child enrolled at this school. I remember calling the center worried about placing my then 16month old in child care while I completed school. When I arrived for my tour I was sold. This is not a sterile, clinical setting....many times on arrival you will find the staff on the floor with the children involved in activities. The staff is NOT afraid of getting down and dirty with the kids. Everything the kids do has an educational purpose to it. COU also involves resources from the surrounding community such as the Association for the Blind, Early Intervention referrals, Healthy Habit educaton by a Registered Nurse and basic sign language skills to help children with speech impairments communicate without ridicule and at the same time help fine tune motor skills while teaching a unique approach to language in general. The staff at COU quickly becomes more like family. There is a genuine concern for children and their education. I highly recommend this center!!
