We have had our two children at SMLP for the past three years and have been very happy there. We started our older child there at three and our younger child there as soon as he could start at 18 months. We have been very satisfied with the communication and kindness of the director as well as with all of the teachers our children have had. SMLP is a wonderful preschool and I would recommend it wholeheartedly!
I've been blessed to find St. Martin's. The teachers in the 2's class have been so patient and loving w/ my son. He runs into the school when I drop him off! He absolutely loves it! I would recommend it to anyone! The assistant director has been a blessing! She corresponded w/ me his first week and would update during the day on how he was doing.
The teachers (with classes aged 18 months to 3 years) that I have had the opportunity to meet are very enthusiastic and sincere. My child, the youngest in his class, is now academically at the top of his class. He was able to count to ten in Spanish and English, identify 12 colors, identify 10 shapes, and identify all the capital alphabet letters before his 2nd birthday. Most of all, I appreciate how affectionate his teachers are towards him. He speaks about his teachers at home, so I know he cares for them as well. The only negative is the probation period St. Martin's completeded with DFPS. I was very concerned about a certain incident and the new director was very responsive to my inquiries. I can count on getting straight answers from all the staff. I think the new director will bring the school back to its once prestigous state.
The adminstrator was so friendly. She provided me useful information. My child is new here. I do not have much information yet.
