Bet Shira claims to follow Conscious Discipline in theory but did not have the best implementation techniques, some teachers are good but others are just ok. They have all the credentials on paper but they lacked the the warm loving and nurturing quality that I wanted for my child. They are very abrupt and seem offended if you inquire about the details of your child. The front staff was not pleasant and welcoming most of the time.
alwful school they don't take the children, the change the diapers when is dimissed time, they don't wash hands.
Both of my children attended this preschool. I could not have asked for a better group of loving, caring and nurturing teachers. I feel that my children have excelled in elementary school because they had the academic and emotional groundwork laid by this faculty.
I have two children that attended this school. I would recommend this school to everyone. Dr. Judy Gampel, Director of Education, is always available to parents for questions and concerns. The teachers are loving and nurturing. They offer diversity in learning with art, music and discovery zone as part of the daily routine. Parent involvement is high which makes for a great environment. I highly recommend Bet Shira.
