We have been at Gingerbread for 2 years now. This is our second preschool and we love it! The staff is great, the school is so clean, my children are learning so much- the lead teacher in the 5yr old class is fabulous!- and the owners (sisters) are always there to talk to or answer any questions. Just perfect for us! Would never go anywhere else!

Love this school, and it's family like atmosphere. Everyone is very friendly, and the teachers are great! They even have accomodated me and now open at 6:30am. I have an infant and a 4 yr old and have been there for 15 months. My infant is loved and cared for and my 4yr old is getting a great base for kindergarten- What more could I ask for!

My children have been at Gingerbread House for 2 years now.The teachers are great and" really care" about the children. They take the time to talk with me every day and fill me in on the days activities. They have learned so much,my 5 year old can actually count to 100. One of my children is going to Kindergarten this year and I recently found out I ( and a few other parents) was denied busing from Cranston Public transportation. The owners were so accommodating they actually bought a bus to bus the children!! Thank You Gingerbread!! With Cranston public schools only having a half day Kindergarten I wasn't sure what I was going to do. This is one less thing to worry about. Needless to say I am VERY PLEASED with Gingerbread!! GREAT SCHOOL!!

I moved from Ct. to RI last year. My husband moved 1 month earlier than I because of work. So, needless to say I had to leave the choice of daycare up to him. He visited 6 preschools in the area. He chose Gingerbread House and I'm pleased he did. This school is a great "fit" for us. The teachers are wonderful and caring, my children (4&6) are thriving! The family field trips and special "after hour events" were a great way for us to get to know other families in the area. The rooms are clean, big,and bright. We are very pleased!

I think common core is going to produce a bunch of dumb adults. Once the kids are grown and out in the real world they aren't going to know how to solve any problem without writing out the answer step by step

I think common core will definitely make moving families feel more confident in their school district choices, but I definitely worry about the learning curve as common core is implemented.
