Just pulled my daughter out of Primrose. For years they had a wonderful director that made Primrose a great place, once she left and the parents have to deal with the owner - well things are going down hill from there. She totally threw her current director under the bus - after I had a simple request about the summer. After hearing her response, I turned in our 2 wk notice, she called me trying to change my mind. she said she was sure it was a miscommunication. How could there be a miscommunication when the answer was "no!" She totally meant "no" but being her two-faced self -- she only changed her mind when I decided to take my MONEY elsewhere. After I have left and started telling people that I left because of the owner - you would be amazed at all that I am hearing. I haven't had one person say anything nice about her. She likes to "appear" all nice and caring but she isn't. All she cares about is the money and her appearance to others. We have loved our teachers but I refuse to give that woman another dime of my money!!! You should really think twice before going there -- ask around - ask someone in her neighbor or at Pine Lake - it will back up what I am saying.

I have two children currently attending Primrose of Lake Norman. Their teachers have been caring and encouraging and the staff is friendly and helpful. The facility is clean, safe and fun. My children love it here!

Primrose schools have been a terrific place for both of our children. We started out in Colorado Springs, after going through home daycares and other schools, we finally found Primrose. When we relocated to North Carolina, we looked to a few other options to try to cut down on expenses. After a few incidents, we came back to Primrose and it has been consistently great. Its one of those places that everyone is happy to see you. Hannah and her staff are absolutely fantastic, everyone is extremely friendly and knowledgable. Both children clearly thrive in this environment. After going through a couple of different daycares, and having been to Primrose in two locations, I would recommend Primrose to anyone.

Expose your child to as many activities as they show interest in. They should not be expected to fulfill YOUR dreams. If you support their interest(s) it can grow into a lifelong passion. In turn, they will bond with others who share that interest.

Americans seem to value extroverts more than introverts. I came out of my shell when I found friends and activities that I liked (high school). And it just took off from there. Perhaps shy kids are just pickier about whose company they keep.
